The inspiration behind our concept is similar to the beauty of nature; we believe that our personal environments should be ever changing. Moving Color™ is a form of living art; therefore, the potential of our products are only limited by the imagination of the designer implementing them.

We have been involved in this industry for more than twenty years. Our knowledge of the properties of natural stone, glass, ceramics, and installation is quite extensive. Moving Color™ wants you the customer to feel confident in not only the product you are purchasing, but also in our company. We are constantly researching and developing new ideas to further expand our innovative product lines.

When implementing designs including Moving Color™ you will be creating your own unique environment. Imagine a breathtaking spring morning -the air is crisp, warm and inviting. The sky is a beautiful shade of blue, accented with intricately textured clouds, and brought to life by the sounds of a mountain stream cascading in the distance. Now imagine entering your personal environment, immediately taken back by that same beautiful blue-sky color. Throughout the day, the sky changes as clouds pass and the sun alternates position -this is the same change achieved through Moving Color™ products. Your attention is now focused on the stream running through the floor. The beautiful glass flows through the color spectrum as it warms, simulating the water cascading from the high peaks of the nearby mountains.

Each application is different; therefore, you as a designer will decide the methods of the use of our products in your individual application. There is an unlimited amount of possibilities making creativity your only obstacle. Moving Color™; if you can dream it, we will create it.

Inspired by the Northern Lights, Moving Color Tiles has come up with 4 x 4 glass tiles that appear black at room temperature, but move through the color spectrum when the temperature changes.

The Northern Lights Tile line relies on temperature to create the sensation that the colors are moving. When warm water or radiant heat is applied to the neat-o tiles, you see quite a range of color. It’s actually quite fascinating, although it reminds me of those iiridescent cars that were popular for a while. I like it, Moving Color tiles gets our stamp of approval.

Liquid™

Liquid™ is the latest addition to the Moving Color™ product lines. Inspired by the beauty of water, Liquid™ has a very organic feel. Offered in ten base colors, these tiles have a wide range of color changing ability. Liquid™ is currently produced on 4” x 4” glass tiles. However, alternate sizes are available as well as custom pieces upon request such as water features and architectural glass.

Tye Dye™

Tye Dye™ is directly inspired by the psychedelic, unpredictable metamorphosis through color infusion. Available in three base colors, Tye Dye™ is unique due to its volatile nature, perfect for a truly breathtaking presentation. The distinctive appearance of Tye Dye™ will capture the attention of even the most abstract tastes, and innovative design concepts.

Watercolors™

Watercolors™ is a unique MOVING COLOR™ line closely resembling the luminous quality of water color. The tiles shift from a base coat of color to colorless when exposed to heat. These 4 x 4 glass tiles are currently available in 8 colors. The color change is “reversible,” i.e., the original color will be restored upon cooling.

UltraBloom™

UltraBloom™, combines Moving Color’s Liquid line and UltraGlas™ textured architectural glass, to further empower you with another dimension of design. From textured glass to one of kind architectural pieces, we can help personalize and enhance your environment like never before. Living Art™

Living Art™ is a collaboration of efforts. Living Art™ is inspired by nature, designed by Moving Color™, and brought to life by Bob Tonjes. This line will appeal to customers looking to personalize their application. These creations are living pieces of art, custom made to order and one of a kind. Living Art™ is created by using a “reverse art” technique.
