The zenith being the solo exhibition at the Smithsonian Museum of Washington D.C. in 1992. Our pottery has also been the subject of numerous articles in magazines and newspapers worldwide. Original and authentic Balian Pottery is sold only at our factory and retail outlet on 14 Nablus Rd. East Jerusalem (and now on our web site). The present location of our factory is where the true form of art known as Armenian Pottery was born. We are the only ceramic studio in Jerusalem producing our own ceramic ware, pool tiles, collector plates, decorative plates, wall plates and hand painted tiles, art tiles by methods handed over to us by our grandparents and parents. Art tile and design tiles hand painted by unique tile artists.
Custom Tile Designs & Duplications on Tile.
This is a unique service given to our clients whereby any image or sample (such as textile, wallpaper, another tile etc) provided to us is duplicated on ceramic tile. This process is true ceramic decoration with actual permanent ceramic colors fired to a temperature of 900C( ) in a ceramic kiln. Unlike all other processes available in the market ,such as sublimation printing etc, the colors are permanent and will never fade or scratch away under any condition. As they say the sky is the limit with what can be done with this system in terms of design capabilities, huge murals etc. Please consult with us for further information and pricing.
