Tile regrouting is a process that will dramatically improve the appearance of a tiled area at a fraction of the cost of replacing the tiles. After all, it is not always the tile that makes the area look ugly but often the grout. Look at it this way, the grout is the frame around the picture. If the frame is ugly it makes the picture look ugly too!

Grout is often the lowest point on a tiled surface which results in dirt, grime and other contaminants collecting there – particularly in high traffic areas.

Using a specially designed mechanical tool, the technician removes the grout from around the tiles to a depth of approximately 3 to 4 mm. Like any task, the preparation is the most important part of the final outcome. Once this has been completed, the area is then vacuumed and cleaned and a new grout with an anti-mould additive is applied.

OUR 4 STEP PROCESS

We use a 4 step process to revitalize your floor surfaces. This process not only restores your floors to their original beauty, but with it’s fungicides and mildicides built into the Grout Perfect Colourseal, it ensures sanitation for many years.

1. A non-toxic neutral cleaning solution is applied to the grout lines and worked into the pores to loosen the embedded dirt and oils.
2. This solution is then rinsed and vacuumed up with a petrol powered truck mounted extraction machine.
3. Grout Perfect Colourseal is applied to the grout lines.
4. The final step is to clean and buff the entire surface to remove any cleaner or colour sealer residue from the tile.

If there are any holes or damaged grout areas we will fix these problems first and regrout before the colour sealing process has begun.
