3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
LATICRETE 9 Ceramic Tile Adhesive is a ready-to-use
flexible, quick grab adhesive for interior installation of
ceramic tile on walls and floors.
Suitable Substrates (Interior Use Only)
- Concrete* Cement Plaster
- Brick Masonry , Gypsum Wallboard
- Concrete Masonry , Cement Backer Board**
- Cement Mortar Beds*
*Cured 28 days
**Consult cement backer board manufacturer for specific installation
recommendations and to verify acceptability for exterior use.
Packaging
13.25 litre pails; 36 pails per pallet.
Approximate Coverage
1 litre per m2 with a 6 x 6 mm notched trowel
Shelf Life
Factory sealed containers of this product are guaranteed to
be of first quality for one (1) year if stored at temperatures
-0,C and ,43,C.
Limitations
-Interior use only, maximum wall tile size 250mm x
250mm, maximum floor tile size 150mm x 150mm.
- Not for use with lug back tile on floors, or for installing
bathroom fixtures.
- Not for use in areas subject to constant water exposure
immersion or hydrostatic pressure.
- Do not apply to presswood, particleboard, masonite, or
chipboard.
-Natural marble and stone may be sensitive to
discoloration. Conduct test area to insure compatibility.
- Not recommended for use below 7,C.
-Not recommended for impervious porcelain tile over
50mm x 50mm size
-Adhesives/mastics, mortars and grouts for ceramic tile,
pavers, brick and stone are not replacements for.
