Pro Flex is a single part, rapid set, polymer modified cementitous wall and floor tile adhesive. Specially formulated to achieve enhanced adhesion and flexibility, it is ideal for areas where slight movement or vibration can occur. It is ideal for fixing glass, mosaic, ceramic and porcelain tiles to most surface materials. Pro Flex is ideal in both internal and external settings, and in wet and dry conditions, suitable for communal showers and swimming pools.

Mix Ratio     Pro Flex should be added slowly to clean water at a ratio of 20kg White : 4.8 litres of water / 20kg Grey : 4.4 litres of water and mixed thoroughly to give a slump free, easily worked mortar. Once mixed, the mortar is immediately ready for use and has a working time of 20minutes at 20°C. Mix only sufficient material to be used within the working time; do not remix or rewet
Application Temperature     5°C to 20°C
Open Time     20 minutes depending on temperature and substrate
Pot Life     6 months, when stored in cool, dry conditions and protected from excessive drafts. Please note that the use of this product after the end of this storage period may increase the risk of an allergic reaction
Set Time     2 to 3 hours depending on temperature and substrate
Coverage     4.5kg per square metre at 3mm bed thickness, 9kg per square metre at 6mm bed thickness

Notes     Times quoted are quoted at 20°C and are temperature/humidity dependent
Preparation     The tiling surface must be clean, dry, firm, free of dust, dirt, oil and grease, and be strong enough to support the weight of the adhesive and tiles being fixed
Application     Apply the adhesive to a thickness of 3-20mm up to 1 square metre in one pass. On interior walls use the notched trowel method. On floors and external areas use the solid bed trowel method. Large studded tiles may also need to be buttered with adhesive. Bed in the tiles with a slight twisting action. Leave spaces between the tiles for grouting (approximately 1-3mm for walls and 2-20mm for floors). Clean off excess adhesive from the tile face and grout line with a damp cloth before it sets
Grouting     After at least 3 hours. Temperature and conditions may affect the tile set, so check the tiles before grouting
Cleaning     Thoroughly clean in water to remove excess materials
